That is the sound of my line breaking and my life tumbling head first into the oldest fishing stereotype, 'the one that got away'.
I will try to put the episode into words once my hands stop shaking and my mind resumes normal service. Be warned there may be the use of various fishing stereotypes including weak line, evil monster Carp and swooping Sparrow Hawks.
